The heroes are about to storm the dungeon when the door opens: "Can I be of service?" comes the voice of a sleepy servant. The paladin raises his sword and shouts, "Die villainous monsters of darkness!" "I'm afraid the Spawns of Darkness are at a celebration," the servant replies, pulling out an appointment book, "would you be comfortable with an appointment next Thursday?" Confused, the paladin lowers his sword. This is not how it was planned. This is not how adventures work. "Ha!" shouts the bard from the back row, "I told you, we should have gone to the monster carnival!“
Dungeon Lords is still played over 2 years even with this expansion, but now each year has 5 seasons instead of 4. Winter, spring, summer, autumn and the festival season! More time to build your dungeon, but also for the heroes to gather. There are new monsters, rooms and traps to prepare your dungeon for new battles, mean plots against the heroes and encourage heroic deeds. You now have 8 actions, but one of these is replaced each season with a new intriguing option. Move other players to evil, make an investment instead of a traditional gold dig, or repair the old tunnels instead of digging new ones. And finally, the most important thing for every arch-villain: Finally, there are cuddle monsters!
